"Bamboo in Winter" Archival print
Signed and numbered limited edition print on 250gsm fine art paper measuring 13 x 13.5 inches (33 x 34.25 cm) from a painting made for our 2021 exhibition "The Weight of Snow" at Corey Helford Gallery. It is an edition of 45 prints and is the "winter" image in a 4 print cycle called
"Four Seasons in the Garden". The fall and winter images will be released later in the year.
About this image in the cycle: When it snows in our backyard, the sasa (dwarf bamboo) end up covered in snow. It was surprising to see how much snow each bamboo leaf could hold despite how flimsy their branches seem when the wind is blowing.
